The national peak body representing Australia's carers, advocating for them in order to inform policy and services. Recognises and supports the contribution of carers and aims at improving their overall wellbeing. Counselling, advice and information is available through their website.

A national advocacy group dedicated solely to improving the well-being of and promoting the needs of mental health carers. Mental Health Carers Australia seek to advocate on behalf of mental health carers, explore and strengthen the mental health caring role, develop knowledge, improve skills and offer support to reduce isolation and enhance the caring journey. They also provide information and resources online.

Mental Illness Fellowship Australia is dedicated to improving the lives of families and communities in their journey of recovery from a mental health issue. MIFA understands the role that carers play and are interested in their wellbeing and rights. MIFAS online platform has a forum for carers to discuss similar issues and start a conversation, and also provides a great amount of information and resources for carers to view providing help and advice.
